Vive Latino Drives Hotel Occupancy to 80%: “We Are Counting on Last-Minute Bookings”

With less than two days to go before the Vive Latino festival opens in Zaragoza and a sellout expected, hotel occupancy is forecast to reach 79.80% on Friday and Saturday. These forecasts already exceed occupancy figures from previous editions of the music festival, surpassing last year’s figure by 3.47 percentage points and 2024’s by 1.95 points. Antonio Presencio, president of Horeca Hotels Zaragoza and Province, said the average stay will be 1.65 days.

Aragon Declares Three Biomethane Plant Projects in Caspe, La Puebla de Hijar and Fraga to Be of Regional Interest

The Government of Aragon has declared the project to build three organic waste management plants for biomethane production in Caspe (Zaragoza), La Puebla de Hijar (Teruel) and Fraga (Huesca) an Investment of Regional Interest. The plants are expected to begin operating in 2028 and create around 180 jobs during construction and 48 permanent positions once operational.
