The agreement will allow AEPLA’s 60 member companies, which account for around 70% of the industrial park’s economic activity, to hold their assemblies, workshops, activities and professional meetings at venues managed by Feria de Zaragoza. The trade fair institution has 85 years of experience and hosts more than 75 events, 300,000 visitors and over 2,000 exhibiting brands every year.
SPACES FOR MEETINGS AND LARGE EVENTS
One of the main facilities included in the agreement is the Feria de Zaragoza Conference Centre, located at the trade fair complex on the A-2 motorway and offering direct access from PLAZA. Its facilities include an auditorium with capacity for 600 people and five multipurpose rooms accommodating between 40 and 150 attendees, designed for presentations, press conferences and training activities.
The collaboration will also make it possible to use the trade fair complex, which has 360,000 square metres distributed across 11 halls, as well as the Zaragoza Conference Centre, located in the EXPO area. The latter has a 2,000-square-metre central hall with capacity for 1,000 people, an auditorium with almost 1,500 seats and 19 modular rooms equipped with technology and simultaneous interpretation systems.
NEW OPPORTUNITIES FOR PLAZA COMPANIES
The agreement was signed by Feria de Zaragoza Director General Rogelio Cuairán and AEPLA President Ángel Adiego. During the ceremony, Cuairán highlighted the institution’s desire to bring its facilities closer to Aragon’s business community. “We want to make our experience, facilities and services available to PLAZA companies, providing versatile spaces for their meetings and activities. This collaboration promotes the exchange of knowledge, drives new business opportunities and strengthens our ties with the business community.”
Adiego, for his part, highlighted the opportunities this collaboration creates for companies in the industrial park. “This agreement means adding new opportunities for PLAZA companies and continuing to develop services that meet their needs. Collaboration between institutions and businesses is key to building the future and strengthening the competitiveness of the business environment.”
FERIA DE ZARAGOZA JOINS AEPLA
The agreement provides for the holding of various business meetings, including AEPLA’s Annual General Meeting and conferences organized by its members. In addition, Feria de Zaragoza will join AEPLA as an associated institution, allowing both organizations to jointly promote activities of common interest and strengthen the role of their facilities as venues for Aragon’s economic and commercial development.
