Strong demand for exhibition space has led organizers to consider opening Hall 6 to accommodate companies that have expressed interest in taking part in the next edition. This growth is also taking place amid strong institutional support.
NEW SECTOR LAYOUT TO MEET MARKET DEMAND
SMAGUA 2027 will debut a new sector layout structured around nine major areas, designed to enhance the experience of visitors and professionals. The event will focus on water collection, transport and storage; water and wastewater treatment and reuse; instrumentation, analysis and automation; irrigation; the environment; the energy sector; engineering and service companies; other equipment and components; and associations, institutions and the technical press.
YOUNG TALENT, A PRIORITY FOR SMAGUA
True to its commitment to the future of the industry, SMAGUA 2027 will host its first Talent Day on February 18. The initiative aims to go beyond a simple visit by educational institutions to the exhibition grounds and become a meeting point between young people and the industry. Its main objective will be to introduce them to the water sector, spark their interest in pursuing a professional career in it, support their effective entry into the labor market and help them contribute to the sector's future development and improvement.
MORE INTERNATIONALIZATION AND BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES
The international dimension will once again be one of the main strengths of this edition. SMAGUA 2027 will host trade missions involving buyers and influencers from more than 26 countries, helping open new markets and create opportunities for participating companies.
This activity will be complemented by the Brokerage Event, organized in collaboration with CEOE Aragón, which will bring professionals and companies together for B2B meetings aimed at expanding contacts, identifying new partners and generating business opportunities. The program will be rounded out by an extensive schedule of technical sessions, presentations and talks led by the sector's main associations and organizations.
The 28th edition of SMAGUA will be held from February 16 to 18, 2027, at Feria de Zaragoza. The event will coincide with the fifth edition of SPAPER, the International Exhibition of Machinery and Equipment for Pulp, Paper and Cardboard, and with the first edition of CITY.360, the Mayors and Public Administrations Fair, which will take place on February 17 and 18.
