These Are the Six Aragon Companies Among Spain’s 101 Most Innovative

Aragon once again has representatives among Spain’s most innovative companies. Six Aragonese startups have been selected among the country’s 101 leading companies in the third edition of the Top 101 Spain Up Nation Awards. The awards recognize young companies with technology projects capable of growing, creating jobs and providing solutions for different sectors.

Of the nineteen Aragonese companies that entered these awards, six have been selected. This means that nearly one in three applications from Aragon was chosen, a result above the national average. In total, 367 companies from across Spain were competing for the recognition, but only 101 managed to secure a place on the list.

THE SIX ARAGONESE COMPANIES SELECTED

The selected companies operate in very different sectors, from artificial intelligence to medicine and telecommunications. EXXN Engineering AI and Telecom manufactures equipment to test the operation of fiber-optic networks, while Lirio Bionics develops customized robotic prostheses that use artificial intelligence to improve the lives of the people who need them.

Two other companies stand out for their solutions for industry and new technologies. SeaX AI develops autonomous electric vehicles capable of monitoring large industrial facilities and detecting intruders during the day and night. Alan Commissioning, meanwhile, specializes in testing and commissioning data center facilities, a sector that is becoming particularly important in Aragon.

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND NEW MEDICAL TREATMENTS

Medical research also has an Aragonese representative. Promethenz, a company that emerged from the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), is working on technology designed to act directly inside tumors by locally generating agents capable of destroying cells. It is joined by BioPredX, which uses artificial intelligence to predict the properties of biological molecules and facilitate research into proteins and genetic variants.

The selection of these six companies was carried out by a national committee made up of representatives from regional development agencies and the National Innovation Company (Enisa). In Aragon, the Aragonese Development Institute (IAF) was responsible for promoting, evaluating and supporting the applications submitted by companies in the region.

THE AWARDS WILL BE PRESENTED IN NOVEMBER

The six Aragonese startups will receive their recognition next November 18 at the La Rioja Conference Center in Logroño. The event will bring together companies, investors and institutions from across Spain and will allow the selected companies to showcase their projects, make contacts and seek new funding opportunities. The gathering will continue on November 19 with activities, debates and professional meetings aimed at promoting innovative entrepreneurship.
