Be careful if driving along Fernando el Católico this Saturday: traffic closure for eight hours

Fernando el Católico avenue will be affected by a traffic restriction this Saturday, October 31, something drivers should bear in mind before setting off. Zaragoza City Council has announced that traffic will be halted near San Juan de la Cruz Street from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. to carry out telecommunications service renewal works.

The work will be carried out alongside the tram route, near number 9, and will involve replacing an access cover. Although it is a small-scale intervention, it will require usual routes to be changed for much of Saturday morning.

THESE ARE THE ALTERNATIVE ROUTES FOR DRIVERS

Vehicles travelling through the area will have to use Félix Latassa Street as an alternative route. In addition, those coming from Mariano Barbasán Street will have another option: taking Cortes de Aragón. The traffic arrangements will be coordinated with Avanza and Zaragoza Trams.

The Mobility Department is asking drivers to exercise extreme caution and respect the temporary signs installed around the work area. The aim is to ensure safety during the intervention and reduce disruption to traffic.
