The Zaragoza village of just 300 residents seeking new neighbors to run its guesthouse-restaurant

Keeping businesses open in small villages is essential to ensuring services for residents, attracting visitors and creating new opportunities in rural areas. This is especially true of establishments such as bars, restaurants and guesthouses, which provide accommodation and dining while helping maintain year-round activity. With this goal, the Letux Town Council, in Zaragoza province, is seeking someone to take charge of the Hostal Restaurante Marqués de Lazán, with the possibility of also having a home in the village.

The opportunity is aimed at people looking to start a business in the hospitality sector and settle in a small village in Campo de Belchite, located less than an hour from Zaragoza city. The establishment, at 1 Hípica Street, is fully equipped and has 12 rooms, a large dining room and a floor area of 626 square meters. The offer also includes a home associated with the business, an added advantage for those considering moving to the municipality.

Management will be awarded through a five-year concession, renewable, with a minimum annual fee of 24,000 euros plus VAT, equivalent to 2,000 euros per month, which may be increased in the bids submitted. Interested parties have until November 20, 2026, to submit their application through Letux Town Council or its electronic headquarters. Information can also be requested at the council offices, located at 1 Plaza de España, or by calling 976 837 004.

LETUX, A VILLAGE LESS THAN AN HOUR FROM ZARAGOZA

The offer also provides the opportunity to settle in Letux, a municipality in the Campo de Belchite district with 349 residents, according to 2025 population register data. Located less than an hour from Zaragoza city, the village has basic services for everyday life, including shops, a school, a medical clinic and a pharmacy, which may be particularly attractive to those considering moving to a rural area.

Despite its small size, Letux retains several heritage sites that contribute to its appeal. These include the Castle-Palace of the Marquises of Lazán, one of the town's most notable buildings, as well as the Church of Our Lady of the Snows and the Chapel of the Virgin of Sorrows. Its location also makes it possible to visit other municipalities in the district and explore the historical and natural heritage around Belchite.
