Specifically, the decorations installed on Delicias Street consist of three circles featuring stars and moons that cover the entire width of the street. However, this is not the only place where Christmas is beginning to make its presence felt.
In recent days, similar displays have also been spotted on Tomás Bretón Street, where the illuminated structures are already heralding the arrival of one of the most eagerly awaited times of the year. A few streets farther up, in San Francisco Square, one of the area's characteristic Christmas trees has also been installed.
THE HIGHLIGHTS OF CHRISTMAS 2026
The official switching-on of the lights is scheduled from November 20 onward, so the coming weeks will be used to complete the decoration of streets and squares. This year's campaign will also bring changes to some of the busiest areas in the city center, including the replacement of the illuminated ceiling on Alfonso I Street, the ornamental lighting of Spain Square and a new corridor of light between San Miguel Square and Santiago Church.

Alongside these new features, Zaragoza will once again display some of its most recognizable decorations. The large illuminated red bow at Zaragoza City Hall has already been installed, and in the coming days the 21-meter-high conical tree and the three-dimensional figures spread across various public spaces will arrive, among other decorations.
And as the lights begin to be installed, other major Christmas attractions are also taking shape. Assembly of the traditional Nativity scene has already begun in Pilar Square, and the umbrella over the Virgen de Monge has been placed in Aragón Square.
