A Well-Known Corner on Don Jaime I Could Come Back to Life: Bar Available to Rent

One of the most recognizable corners of Zaragoza’s Don Jaime I street has been frozen in time for several months. The Black Horse Pub, located at the intersection with Santiago Street just a few meters from Plaza del Pilar, has remained closed to the public after years as part of the city center’s hospitality scene. Now, after 26 years in business, the establishment is available to rent, fully equipped and ready to reopen under new management.

This was announced by the Zaragoza Association of Cafés and Bars, which said the premises are available due to a change in activity by their current operators. The establishment, located at number 41 on Don Jaime I Street, is being offered as it currently stands, with all the equipment needed to resume operations immediately and without having to refurbish the business from scratch.

WHAT THE WELL-KNOWN DON JAIME I BAR AVAILABLE TO RENT IS LIKE

The premises have approximately 150 square meters of usable space on the street level, divided into a dining area, kitchen and bathrooms. They have an authorized capacity of 95 people indoors and another 64 on the terrace, which is licensed for 16 tables and one support fixture. The kitchen is also fully equipped, has a ventilation system and includes everything needed to operate as a hospitality business.

Another feature of the establishment is that it is soundproofed and has an operating license from 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m., with the possibility of extending the hours until 2:00 a.m. on Fridays, Saturdays and the eve of public holidays. This gives the premises the potential to restore a bar, café or beer hall in one of Zaragoza’s most central streets.
