According to Zaragoza City Council, the main focus will be Calle Pedro Cerbuna, where work has already begun and has now reached the main entrance to the university campus. There will also be disruption on Avenida de Madrid, where the second phase of an electrical duct installation will be carried out. Other streets and avenues will also be affected. This is the complete list of disruptions.
AVENIDA MADRID
In the Delicias district, specifically on Avenida de Madrid, the second phase of an electrical duct installation will be carried out by crossing the roadway in sections near Plaza Ciudadanía, opposite the Aljafería Palace. The work, which will continue until Friday the 13th, will close the cycle lane but ensure traffic continues to flow by keeping two lanes open at all times after occupying the right-hand lane of the Escrivá de Balaguer roundabout.
CESÁREO ALIERTA
Likewise, from November 9 to 13, a new wastewater connection on Avenida Cesáreo Alierta will occupy the right-hand lane toward the city center, specifically between Calle Mor de Fuentes and Avenida San José. Traffic will continue to flow in two lanes, and right turns from the central lane will be permitted.
PEDRO CERBUNA
The comprehensive renovation of Calle Pedro Cerbuna directly affects access from Calle Arzobispo Apaolaza toward Plaza San Francisco, which will be available solely as an entrance route via the free lane of the plaza in the opposite direction. This new phase directly affects access from Calle Arzobispo Apaolaza toward Plaza San Francisco, which will be available solely as an entrance route via the free lane of the plaza in the opposite direction, with priority signage over vehicles leaving speed bump 3570.
As a result of this reorganization, vehicles will access the university via Plaza San Francisco or Domingo Miral, and will exit via the latter route or Calle Menéndez Pelayo.
SANTA ISABEL
In the Santa Isabel area, the affected streets will be Río Gállego and Guillermo Fatás. On the former, pedestrians will be required to cross the road near number 4 between November 9 and 13, with priority signage in place. In addition, the odd-numbered sidewalk and parking spaces between Juan Pablo Bonet School and Camino Jarandín will be occupied for an extended period until March 31, 2027, with pedestrians diverted to the opposite sidewalk.
In addition, parking restrictions will be in place on Calle Guillermo Fatás between numbers 26 and 32 until November 19 to carry out a new wastewater connection. Part of the sidewalk will be occupied, while pedestrian and vehicle traffic will be maintained.
MIRALBUENO
In the Miralbueno area, the affected location will be Camino del Pilón, where the replacement of a drain between the Anillo Verde and Calle Íñigo Manuel Marín Sancho will lead to occasional roadway closures during morning hours, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Traffic will be able to pass in both directions with traffic controllers on site.
CENTRAL AREA
On Calle Tomás Zumalacárregui, near Paseo Sagasta, an electrical duct installation near number 30 will occupy the sidewalk and part of the roadway from November 9 to 13. Some parking spaces will be temporarily removed to keep traffic moving, and safe pedestrian crossings will be provided.
COGULLADA AND POLÍGONO MALPICA
Starting Tuesday, November 10, wastewater work will reach Calle Tomás Edison in the Cogullada area. A pedestrian passage will be provided in the roadway to protect pedestrians near number 8, while vehicle access to Calle Jaime Ferrán will be maintained.
Finally, in the industrial area of Polígono Malpica, the repair of a wastewater connection will result in a new closure on Calle E from November 10, near its intersection with Calle D. The street will become a dead end for vehicles accessing it from Calle B.
