On the final day alone, Rastrillo Aragón raised €126,392, driven by strong attendance and special discounts offered at its 26 stands. Shopping, activities and food options once again attracted thousands of people to an event that has nearly four decades of history in Zaragoza and Aragon.

MORE THAN 800 VOLUNTEERS BEHIND RASTRILLO ARAGÓN

Once again, one of the key features of this edition was the involvement of more than 800 volunteers, whose work extends far beyond the 11 days during which Rastrillo remains open. The Federico Ozanam Foundation highlighted their commitment to preparing and carrying out an initiative that continues to draw large crowds year after year.

The final day also featured a performance by the Reyes de México mariachi group, which entertained visitors during the last hours of Rastrillo. The public also took advantage of the final offers available at the various stands before the definitive close of this edition.

The proceeds will serve a specific purpose: financing a new phase of the expansion and renovation works at the Ozanam Nuestra Señora del Carmen Residence. The project includes the creation of two new living units, which will join the two already in place, as well as an increase in the number of places, rooms and spaces adapted to residents’ daily needs.

The works also aim to advance the Person-Centered Care Model developed by the residence. With this new record of €808,821, Rastrillo Aragón closes one of its most notable editions and once again turns the participation of citizens, companies, organizations, institutions and volunteers into resources for the social projects of the Federico Ozanam Foundation.
