The addition expands the options for digitally consulting documentation from the Aragon regional administration and brings to Salud Informa a tool that the Government of Aragon launched in 2025 through MiA, its digital platform for interacting with citizens.

The regional government launched the digital card for companion, hunting and service animals in June 2025, developed in collaboration with the Aragon Colleges of Veterinary Surgeons. The tool is designed to give owners, veterinary professionals and public administrations centralized, digital access to animals’ health and legal data.
WHAT INFORMATION DOES THE PET CARD CONTAIN
The digital card includes data on the animal’s identification and species, its characteristics, the owner and the responsible veterinarian.
It also allows users to consult information related to vaccination history and notifications of new vaccines, as well as the animal’s registration and deregistration and changes of ownership. The Government of Aragon also states that the system will include public health alerts of general interest to animal and pet owners.
The card is automatically updated with information entered by accredited veterinary professionals, keeping the documentation available in digital format up to date.
HOW TO ACCESS THE CARD
To access the pet’s card, users must open the Salud Informa app and go to the “Virtual Health Card” section, located in the bottom-right corner of the screen. Once there, they should select “My Cards” and then tap “Animal Card.”
This addition marks another step in the digitalization of the documentation available to Aragonese citizens, who can now also access information about their animals from their mobile phones.
