AVE service linking Zaragoza and Andalusia reaches only Madrid after Toledo accident

A rail accident in Toledo has cut the line between Madrid and Seville. As a result, trains connecting Zaragoza with Andalusia are being disrupted and only reaching the Spanish capital, while Renfe services linking Madrid, Zaragoza and Barcelona are operating normally.
AVE service linking Zaragoza and Andalusia reaches only Madrid after Toledo accident

Aragon has two daily AVE trains in each direction connecting it with Andalusia, one in the morning and another in the afternoon. The morning Zaragoza-Seville-Malaga service is currently running only as far as Madrid, where it turns around to return. Meanwhile, the Granada-Seville-Zaragoza service has been unable to run along the Andalusian section.

The two afternoon AVE services are expected to face similar disruptions. Passengers with combined journeys from Zaragoza to Madrid and from Madrid to Andalusia are being informed that their trains will only run as far as the Spanish capital. Renfe is notifying affected passengers and carrying out cancellations and ticket changes free of charge.
