The figures can only define this fifth edition as historic. The "sold-out" status of the 15,000 available passes did nothing but confirm the organizers' positive outlook and high expectations. "The truth is that we have managed to bring together a very interesting and varied lineup. Every year is an adventure, and that is also what makes the festival interesting," promoter Nacho Royo said.
Amaia, Ed Maverick, Guitarricadelafuente, Julieta Venegas, la M.O.D.A, Modelo, Loquillo, M-Clan, Ojete Calor, Pignoise, Rigoberta Bandini, Sanguijuelas del Guadiana and Siloé headline a list of nearly 40 artists who share the same goal: conquering Zaragoza's Expo venue this Friday and Saturday. Day tickets are still available, although the organizers expect them to sell out in the coming hours.
ACCESS
Both entry to and exit from Vive Latino will be located at the same point. The festival gates will be set up next to what was the Spain Pavilion during Expo 2008, and from there visitors will be able to access both the ticket offices and the accreditation point for minors. The venue will open its doors at 16.45 on both days and close at around 3.00.
A COMPREHENSIVE FOOD AREA
But there will be more than music. The festival will offer countless activities, with food also taking center stage. Vive Latino Zaragoza's culinary offering will allow visitors to travel through different cuisines without leaving the venue. Spanish cuisine, Venezuelan flavors and Italian food will all be available, alongside an international tour through Peru, Mexico, Asia and Argentina. Those who prefer a burger or hot dog will have several options, while those with a sweet tooth can choose from crepes, desserts, ice cream and other snacks.
MEXICAN LUCHA LIBRE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FESTIVAL
The event's most curious and striking offering will be Mexican lucha libre. Attendees will be able to enjoy a show that combines sport, tradition, art and entertainment, bringing the essence of one of the great icons of Central American popular culture to the Zaragoza venue.
Holds, acrobatics and high-flying moves will be among the ingredients of bouts designed to surprise the audience. Three matches will be held during each day of Vive Latino Zaragoza, featuring a total of 15 legendary wrestlers who will face off on their way to the grand main event.
TOURISTS FROM ALL OVER SPAIN AND THE WORLD
Vive Latino will attract audiences from every corner of the planet, although most attendees will come from Spain. Hotel occupancy is expected to reach 79.80% this Friday and Saturday. These forecasts already exceed the occupancy figures from previous editions of the music festival, surpassing last year's figures by 3.47 points and those of 2024 by 1.95 points, according to Antonio Presencio, president of Horeca Hoteles Zaragoza and the province.
TWO DAYS ABOVE 40 DEGREES
The most negative aspect of this fifth edition of Vive Latino is the weather forecast. Zaragoza is under an orange Aemet warning for maximum temperatures on both days, which will reach 41 degrees during the central hours of the afternoon. In response, Vive Latino recommends staying continuously hydrated and keeping sunscreen on hand to protect against the sun's rays.
