Juanjo Bona’s most loyal fans can now mark November 6 in red on their calendars. That will be the day when "Pobre de mí," the first "single" of this new era, is released on all digital platforms for the enjoyment of the artist from Magallón’s thousands upon thousands of followers. "I can’t believe it!" Bona wrote in an Instagram post.

THE ALBUM IS ALMOST HERE

Juanjo revealed a few days ago that his new album will become a reality in 2027. During the summer, the singer published several posts showing him working on a record that will mark another step in his career after he became a finalist on Operación Triunfo. "The light is beginning to show with several songs from the new album. I’m happy, happy, happy!" the Aragonese artist wrote.

He also answered questions from his fans on Instagram and revealed that the album will contain slightly more than ten songs and that, in keeping with the hallmark that has defined his career from the start, folk music will play a leading role. He has yet to decide on the title that will give the project its name.

When asked what the biggest challenge had been in making the album, Juanjo Bona answered frankly. "Finding the jotas or folk elements and figuring out how to fuse them with pop without falling into choosing styles or jotas that I had already used too much, but also without going completely crazy and making something that people who had never been able to get close to my folk music could easily understand," he said.

With "Pobre de mí," it seems Bona is already immersed in the final details of the project.
