The “Miradas en Red Aragón” initiative was jointly organized by Laura Contreras (MovieCamp) and Víctor Izquierdo (Barbecho Productions). It involves the collective creation of audiovisual pieces aimed at preventing violence against women in the digital environment.
Through a total of six practical workshops to be held in different Aragonese municipalities between November and December 2026, participants aged between 13 and 20 will critically analyze gender stereotypes, myths surrounding romantic love and the various forms of digital violence found in audiovisual content and on social media.
WRITING, FILMING AND EDITING THEIR OWN PROJECTS
Based on this analysis, they will write, film and edit their own audiovisual pieces. The initiative combines educational debate with technical audiovisual training and will also receive guidance from Violeta Lasheras, a specialist in equality and sexual and digital violence.
The project will take place at venues in the three Aragonese provinces, adapting to the dynamics of each locality. In Zaragoza, a continuous workshop will be held from November 9 to 19 for students at the CPA Salduie training center; in Épila, it will run from November 21 to December 1 at Tangram, with the participation of IES Ródanas; and in Huesca, from November 27 to December 11 at Espacio Z.
In Teruel, Barbastro and the Jiloca County, one-off workshops have been scheduled for November 3 at IES Vega del Turia, November 18 at the Barbastro Youth Center and December 20 at the Jiloca County headquarters in Calamocha.
Each workshop will conclude with a public screening, presentation and discussion session, in which the young participants will present their creations to the community, encouraging social dialogue and critical reflection.
