The ruling, seen by ARAGÓN DIGITAL, convicts him of a continuing offense of breaching a court order, with the aggravating circumstance of repeat offending, and sentences him to 12 months of fines at a daily rate of 10 euros, totaling 3,600 euros, plus legal costs. However, the sentence can be appealed before the Provincial Court of Zaragoza. The judge also recalls that Loban had previously been convicted of breaching a court order in 2021 and 2022.
The electronic monitoring had been imposed to enforce a ban on approaching or communicating with his former partner. Reports from the Cometa Center recorded numerous incidents between November 2025 and January this year involving the “separation of the bracelet” and battery depletion. On several occasions, it was impossible to contact him, and the security forces had to be alerted. The ruling considers that, except for three incidents that could be justified, the rest resulted from the defendant disregarding the instructions he had received.
HE DENIED MANIPULATING THE DEVICE
During the trial, Loban, represented by lawyers Carmen Sánchez Herrero and Luis Ángel Marcén, maintained that he had never tampered with the devices, that he was sometimes at home while the device was issuing alerts, and that the battery lasted less than 24 hours. The judge ultimately concluded that “the frequency and duration of the incidents reveal repeated and deliberate conduct.”
Adrián L. Z.'s name also appears repeatedly in police proceedings, and he is already known to many of the officers working in the Aragonese capital. In fact, a police report from last July stated that he had accumulated 28 previous arrests, while another from March recorded 24 unfavorable police records. The incidents include domestic violence and family disputes. In January, he was arrested after a heated argument with his brother and mother at a home on Vía Universitas; in March, he was arrested again following another family altercation in which, according to the report, he acted violently toward police officers, spitting at one of them and making threats.
The most recent incident, in July, occurred when both Adrián and his brother were arrested after two fights at the family home. The police report documented injuries to both men and stated that one of the brothers had to be taken to hospital with an open wound on his shin, bruising and damage to several teeth.
