A total of 41 establishments from Zaragoza will compete with their own versions of this classic of Spanish cuisine. From firmer tortillas to those opting for a softer, juicier center, each participant will try to win over diners with its recipe and find the perfect balance that allows it to claim the title of Zaragoza's best Spanish potato omelet.
HOW THIS LEAGUE WORKS
The competition will take place over three rounds. The first, known as the "group stage," will be held from November 2 to 6. The establishments that advance from this stage will move on to the second round, the round of 16, which will take place from November 9 to 13.
Then, from November 16 to 20, it will be time for the quarterfinals. From that point on, the tortillas will face off in direct duels until only one remains, which will be crowned the winner of the eighth edition of the Zaragoza Tortilla League.

With the stoves ready for the contests to begin, Zaragoza will once again become the setting for a genuine battle over the coming weeks. With or without onion, firmer or with a barely cooked egg, each establishment will defend its recipe in an attempt to win over Zaragoza diners. Only one will manage to prevail over the rest and claim the title of Zaragoza's best Spanish potato omelet.
