With this Sunday, November 1, still to conclude and the special All Saints' Day operation set to end on Monday, Zaragoza City Council has released the figure as an initial estimate of attendance based on data from municipal services. Likewise, no noteworthy incidents have been reported so far, and services remain fully operational, with attendance always highest during the central hours of the day and around midday.
Attendance this year has been higher than in 2025, although it has followed a more gradual pattern spread throughout the operation, with particularly high numbers in the days leading up to November 1. This consolidates a change in trend, with citizens distributed across different days rather than concentrating all visits on a single day.
Thus, from Saturday, October 24, through this Sunday, November 1 —a total of 10 days— Torrero Cemetery has received nearly 218,000 visitors, more than the figure recorded during the entire 2025 operation, which ended with around 210,000 visits.
ALMOST 40,000 PEOPLE ON NOVEMBER 1 ALONE
This Sunday, November 1, was the day with the highest attendance, recording more than 39,000 visits, although that figure is lower than in other years, when attendance reached nearly 45,000 visitors. By contrast, attendance on the preceding days was much higher this year, following a gradual increase that began to become noticeable on Tuesday, October 27.
In fact, on Friday, October 30, Torrero Cemetery recorded a peak in attendance almost similar to that of this October 1, exceeding 37,000 people—more even than on the eve of the holiday, Saturday, October 31, when around 35,600 people visited.
