Teruel improves bus access to Obispo Polanco Hospital with new timetable

Teruel City Council has changed the urban bus timetable connecting the city with the new Obispo Polanco Hospital to better meet users’ needs. The changes particularly benefit Medicine and Nursing students who study there, while also improving patients’ access to services such as rehabilitation.

The councillor responsible for the urban bus service, Jesús Artigot, explained that the change responds to the consolidation of class timetables once the academic year had begun and to difficulties identified by some students, particularly in the afternoons.

Artigot also highlighted another improvement to the urban bus route: the addition of a stop in the hospital’s rehabilitation area. The measure responds to a request from users who attended this service and for whom the previous stop was too far away.

BUS TIMETABLES

Under the new timetable, the bus from the bus station to the hospital leaves at 7:35 a.m. and runs every 35 minutes until 2:35 p.m. From then on, it runs hourly until 7:35 p.m.

In the opposite direction, the service begins at 7:55 a.m. and runs every 35 minutes until 2:20 p.m. From that time onward, buses run hourly, departing between 3:15 p.m. and 8:15 p.m.
