ExpoCalamocha 2026: Dates, Activities and Free Admission to the Fair

Calamocha is preparing for three days of shopping, food and entertainment with a new edition of ExpoCalamocha, one of the most traditional events on Teruel’s fair calendar. From October 31 to November 2, the exhibition center will bring together companies, professionals and visitors at a fair combining commercial innovations with rural traditions and activities for the whole family.

AROUND 100 COMPANIES AND FREE ADMISSION

The fair is holding its 43rd edition with nearly 100 companies from Spain and Portugal and an expected attendance of around 6,000 visitors. The exhibition will cover 7,000 square meters, divided between a covered area with stands and two outdoor spaces: one dedicated to machinery and vehicles and another with children’s attractions. Admission will be free throughout the three-day event.

Visitors will find everything from agricultural machinery and livestock equipment to food, crafts, clothing, footwear, toys, natural cosmetics and second-hand vehicles, among other products and services. Companies will showcase their latest products and special offers in a space that will also enable them to establish business contacts. In addition, an exhibition of Playmobil dioramas will be open to visitors on the first floor.

SHEEPDOGS, FOOD AND HALLOWEEN ACTIVITIES

On Saturday, the fair will open at 10:30 a.m., although the official inauguration has been canceled due to the mourning declared following the rail accident, in solidarity with the victims and their families. The program includes a cooking demonstration with Thermomix, the presentation of the BAW 212 off-road vehicle, a food competition organized with the Calamocha Women’s Association, a Halloween parade and a fire show.

On Sunday, one of the main new attractions will take place: the first Calamocha Sheepdog Competition, featuring 12 participants and their border collies. The five best contestants will compete in the final at noon. There will also be a presentation of the book Velvet and Stone and a talk with a tasting of artisanal honeys from Las Abejitas de Raquel.

The final day, Monday, November 2, will begin at 10:30 a.m. and will include a visit to the municipal cemetery to learn about its history and legends, organized by the San Roque Foundation. At 11:30 a.m., a linocut printing workshop on clothing will be held, with limited places and advance registration required. ExpoCalamocha will close its doors at 2 p.m. after a weekend aimed at promoting local commerce and bringing the area’s agricultural and livestock activity closer to the public.
