September has arrived, but the heat seems unaware that summer is entering its final stretch. High temperatures will continue across Aragon, with thermometers rising again in the region’s three provincial capitals. Zaragoza, Huesca and Teruel will endure several days of intense heat, with highs exceeding 40°C and making fans and bottles of water the best allies for Aragon’s residents once again.
The rollout of TuCitaSalud continues across Aragon. The app was extended this week to the Barbastro Health Sector, where it is available for primary care appointments with family doctors, nurses and pediatricians at the sector’s 15 health centers and their local clinics.
Teruel's new Obispo Polanco University Hospital takes its first major step this Tuesday with the arrival of its first patients. The new facilities begin providing care with the opening of consultations in Rehabilitation, Endocrinology, Rheumatology and Radiation Oncology, four specialties launching a phased rollout over the coming months.
Learning a language, getting started in photography, improving writing skills, discovering new artistic disciplines or delving deeper into psychology and health are some of the options that the Zaragoza Popular University (UPZ) will once again offer this fall. The center will open enrollment from September 3 to 6 for the first term of the 2026–2027 academic year, with 131 courses and 2,172 places available through its website to anyone over the age of 16.
