By provincial capital, temperatures will be radically different from those recorded in recent days, when readings exceeded 38 degrees, unusual for the month of September. In Zaragoza and Huesca, highs will barely reach 27 degrees today, while Teruel will remain at 25. Lows will be particularly cold in the provincial capital of Teruel, at 7 degrees, while in Zaragoza and Huesca they will range between 15 and 16.
That said, if there is one place where this drop in temperatures will be felt—and strongly—it is the Pyrenees, where lows will fall below zero at peaks such as Aneto (-2 degrees), with a wind chill of -10.
This respite, as Aemet has already warned, will not last long, as temperatures will begin to rise again, gradually, toward the weekend. Thus, readings are expected to climb back above 37 degrees in Zaragoza next Tuesday, reaching 34 in Huesca and 35 in Teruel.
Until then, however, thermometers will range between 29 and 33 degrees for highs in Zaragoza, 27 and 33 in Huesca, and 25 and 33 in Teruel. Lows will also rise to 20 degrees next week, although they will remain between 14 and 16 in Zaragoza, 12 and 18 in Huesca, and 5 and 12 in Teruel.
