The program aims to bring students closer to Aragon’s natural and cultural heritage through direct experiences in nature. It also seeks to spark their curiosity and interest in these areas while providing teachers with an educational resource to complement the work they do in the classroom.
FOUR WAYS TO CONNECT WITH NATURE
The initiative offers several alternatives, all of them free of charge. The Standard Educational Program includes a visit to a Protected Natural Area and its Interpretation Center. PEZIS, meanwhile, works with communities located in the areas of socioeconomic influence surrounding these sites.
The Aragon Natural Classroom Program encourages schools to develop research projects during the academic year on topics related to these natural environments. Finally, the Virtual Program offers a virtual tour of the Natural Area. It is an interdisciplinary project carried out both in the classroom and in the natural environment.
WHO IS IT FOR?
The Educational Program is designed for formal education groups from preschool, primary and secondary schools, upper secondary education, vocational training and universities. It also includes other groups, such as associations, adult education schools, training courses and companies, among others, as well as groups and individuals with disabilities.
