After assessing the organizational and enrollment needs for the school year that is about to begin, it was decided that 19 Early Childhood Education Technician positions would be assigned to early schooling classrooms across the three provinces, while the other 21 would provide support at the 11 Early Childhood Education Schools in the regionally owned network, which serve children aged 0 to 2.
This staffing allocation was decided according to technical criteria including an analysis of enrollment figures, the extension of the schools’ opening hours, set from 07:45 to 17:00, and coverage for workplace adjustments or reduced working hours, among other circumstances. The 40 TEIs will be distributed as follows: 25 positions at 19 centers in Zaragoza, eight professionals at five centers in Huesca and its province, and seven technicians at five centers in Teruel.
This support plan continues the regional government’s commitment to early and high-quality schooling, which promotes work-family balance, inclusion and territorial cohesion through direct support for rural areas.
