Real Zaragoza’s training session began at 10:30 a.m. on Field 6 at the facilities on the Valencia road. The headcount showed everyone available. That included Lucas Terrer, who suffered a minor quadriceps injury and is racing to recover in time. He has taken part under Ibai’s orders for practically the entire week, opening the door to his inclusion.
If he is able to play, the midfielder will have missed just one match. It was the previous game, against Villarreal B, which ended in a 2-2 draw as the teams remained level at the top of the table. Real Zaragoza now have another chance to move into first place.

Real Zaragoza have now begun the final stage of preparations for the match after a week packed with side issues surrounding the club’s SAD. There has been talk of the purchase of the SAD, Ander Herrera’s lengthy press conference and the awards presented by Zaragoza City Council… but rather less about football.
That is not helpful in a week when top spot in the table is at stake once again. That is what Real Zaragoza will be playing for against S.D. Huesca this Saturday.
EVERYTHING IS JOYFUL
In any case, there is nothing but joy at Real Zaragoza. The run of matches without defeat is evident, although the run of victories is less so, having been considerably more modest. In fact, the achievement lies precisely in having picked up zero points in only one match.
In the dressing room, the joy is total. Good spirits, friendship, jokes, games… everything was evident during the first 15 minutes, when Real Zaragoza’s session was open to the press. And, even more positively, everyone began the drills proposed by Ibai Gómez on Thursday.
If that continues, everyone will be fit to play against S.D. Huesca. The match is now just around the corner, with only one more training day to put the finishing touches in place and two days remaining until kickoff. It is therefore time for Real Zaragoza to focus on football.
