On April 22, Vox and the People's Party reached a government agreement establishing the end of this program (coordinated by staff from the Moroccan Embassy in Spain and the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sports, and managed by the autonomous communities) in September 2026.
Nolasco stated that "the end of the Arabic Language and Moroccan Culture Program is a reality because Vox is in government," adding that "we are seeing that Vox is fulfilling its electoral promises." Vox had already called for the program to be discontinued on November 14, 2025, in the Aragonese Parliament, during the previous legislative term. Similarly, Vox's municipal group in Zaragoza City Council put forward a motion on June 26, 2025, to "request the immediate suspension of the Arabic Language and Moroccan Culture Program (Plamc) in all educational centers in Spain, particularly in Zaragoza, along with other measures," but failed to secure the support of the other municipal groups.
