Asked by journalists about the complaint from Comisiones Obreras warning of discontent among officials at the Aragonese Institute of Social Services, Nolasco said he did not know whom the union had spoken to and accused it of “trying to harm the department because it knows we are doing things right.”
“I am struck by the fact that unions do not demonstrate when electricity prices rise more than ever, nor when we are facing an unprecedented security crisis, when Ceuta has been invaded, or when Spaniards are poorer today than they were yesterday,” the Deputy Regional President of Aragón said. He criticized them for focusing on “these issues when what they should do is demonstrate against this government.”
He also said that the left does not want “the fight against illegal immigration to continue or there to be greater security.” In this regard, he insisted that they would not accept “any distribution imposed by this government” of minors from Ceuta, which is why they did not attend the Sectoral Conference on Children.
“They want to continue spreading insecurity and ruin throughout Spain, and we will not allow that. Therefore, we will fight through every legal avenue available to us, as we are doing, appealing every proceeding,” he concluded.
