Nolasco defended the condition as an application of the so-called “national priority” within the current legal framework. During the presentation of the aid, he said that, given public resources he considers “finite,” there is an obligation to distribute them “in the fairest possible way.” “We prioritize our own, those from here, those who have spent their entire lives working and paying contributions in our territory,” the vice president said. The regulatory terms were published by the BOA on July 28.
AID IN TWO CATEGORIES
The aid is divided into two categories. The first, endowed with 215,000 euros, covers multiple births or adoptions involving three or more children, as well as twin births or double adoptions when at least one of the children has a recognized disability of at least 33%. In these cases, the benefit may amount to up to 1,200 euros per child per year and continue until the child turns 13. Certain cases of permanent foster care and guardianship for adoption purposes are also treated in the same way.
The second category will have 276,000 euros and will be aimed at families with twins or those who have completed a double adoption in a single procedure, also including certain cases of permanent foster care or guardianship for adoption purposes. In this case, the aid will amount to up to 1,500 euros in a single payment for the birth or adoption of the two children. The call thus maintains differentiated support based on each family’s circumstances.
Interested families may submit their applications between October 1 and 30, 2026, preferably online through the Aragon Government’s electronic office. The procedure concerns aid for multiple births and adoptions in 2026 and can be found in the procedures search engine under number 11,773. The call therefore establishes the new five-year residency requirement alongside the other conditions for accessing the subsidies.
