As for the Copa del Rey, the measure affects the Anaitasuna-Alavés and Pamplona-Eibar fixtures, which will have to find a new date in the calendar. The Federation said it will announce details in the coming days regarding the tournament schedule and the definitive times for the postponed matches. The official presentation in Almendralejo of the Spain under-21 team's match against Japan has also been suspended.

"The great family of Spanish football remains united in grief over this sad loss and sends all its affection and support to the family, friends and loved ones of Jesús de Miguel, as well as to the Tenerife club and all its supporters at this extremely difficult time," the RFEF said in its statement announcing the suspension of Tuesday's fixtures.

UTEBО-SABADELL TO GO AHEAD AS PLANNED

For now, the RFEF's decision does not affect the only Aragonese team still to play in the Copa del Rey: Utebo. The Barbo club is scheduled to host Sabadell this Wednesday at 20:30 at the Santa Ana stadium in a first-round Copa del Rey match that remains on the calendar, pending any further changes or official announcements.

This round of cup matches is being played this week after the fixtures initially scheduled for last week were postponed because of the rail accident in Toledo. It has been a tragic week for Spanish football, which continues to express its condolences following the death of Jesús de Miguel.
