The red-and-black club officially announced the arrival of Tiago Manuel Dias Correia, Bebé, on Friday, although he had already been training with the squad for several days. “Experience, power and versatility,” the Teruel side highlighted in its announcement.
Bebé primarily operates on the wings, although his physical power and ability to appear in different attacking positions increase the Teruel side’s offensive options. He also brings one of the characteristics that have defined his career: his powerful shooting from medium and long range.
AN EXTENSIVE CAREER BEFORE ARRIVING AT PINILLA
Teruel’s new player boasts an unusual CV. In addition to Real Zaragoza, he has represented clubs such as Manchester United, Benfica, Rayo Vallecano, Córdoba and Eibar during his career, as well as gaining international experience with the Cape Verde national team.
Bebé joined Real Zaragoza in January 2023 on loan from Rayo Vallecano until the end of that season. His spell at La Romareda was brief, but he scored four goals in 16 league appearances.
The forward now returns to Aragonese football, with Pinilla becoming his new home. With his signing, the Teruel side add a player with an extensive professional career and top-level experience to their squad.
