In addition to being one of the few cinemas in Spain to screen the film as it was shot (on 35 mm), Cervantes cinemas will host a "streaming" Q&A with Javier Calvo and Javier Ambrossi next Friday, September 25, during the 7:00 p.m. screening. The Q&A, which will be broadcast from Madrid, will take place after the film.
It will be the only cinema in Zaragoza to host this Q&A and one of the few in Spain. With just over a week to go, a substantial number of tickets have already been sold, although plenty are still available. They are priced at 12.90 euros. At the other cinemas in Zaragoza, audiences will be able to enjoy the film in 4K, Laser and Laser REX.
ABOUT "LA BOLA NEGRA"
The film is based on an unfinished work by Federico García Lorca and tells a story connecting the lives of three men across three different eras. Sexuality, desire, pain, identity and what one generation inherits from those before it run through a narrative in which Los Javis once again explore some of the themes that have shaped works such as "Veneno" and "La Mesías".
The film marks the big-screen debut of artist Guitarricadelafuente, who has Aragonese roots, in a leading role. The cast also includes Miguel Bernardeu, Carlos González, Milo Quifes, Lola Dueñas, Penélope Cruz and Glenn Close.
