During a pre-construction visit to the Expo venue this Wednesday alongside Zaragoza Mayor Natalia Chueca and Aragón Government Vice President Mar Vaquero, Royo hinted at Vive Latino’s plans for its next edition. "For now, we are focused on bringing the fifth edition to an end before thinking about the sixth, but it is true that we are already working on it. We already have artists practically signed," he said.
He also stressed that next year’s lineup will not leave audiences indifferent. "I can tell you that if this year has gone well, next year will be even better. Above all because of the artists’ popularity," he said. Amaia, Guitarricadelafuente, Loquillo and Julieta Venegas are among this year’s headliners. We will have to see whether the festival can improve on a lineup that has received widespread praise.
A HISTORIC FIFTH EDITION
For now, Vive Latino remains focused on its fifth edition, which will take place this Friday and Saturday. With just over 48 hours to go, the excitement is palpable. The Expo venue is already looking practically immaculate, ready for Vive Latino to once again welcome the leading Ibero-American artists of the moment and around 45,000 attendees eager to be moved.
Workers are still putting the finishing touches to the site at this hour so that the festival can begin this Friday and the fifth edition can be confirmed as historic, after organizers announced just a few days ago that all 15,000 available passes had sold out. Day tickets are also close to selling out.
