In addition, the combination of classic elements and modern technology means that "you no longer have to go to Broadway or London to see a high-quality musical. When people enter and see that Paris Opera with its stunning lighting and immersive sound, which can be heard from any row or seat, they are immediately drawn into the story," she acknowledged.

Daniel Diges and Ana San Martín appeared in Zaragoza on Thursday "extremely excited" to take on such historic characters. "It is the dream of every musical theater actor and every actor in general. In addition, this version allows us to humanize the character more—not just sing, although that is part of it, but also focus more on the acting," Diges said.
Ana San Martín's love affair with Christine Daae began a long time ago, as did her affection for the character. "Nine years ago, I had the opportunity to play her in a symphonic concert, and even then I thought that I hoped I could do it in a musical day after day. I started auditioning again and again and always came close. It was a frustrated dream and a huge lingering regret, and when the opportunity came... I couldn't believe it," she said emotionally.
The musical aims to fill the 1,500 seats at the Palacio de Congresos and joins the venue's efforts to promote a genre "that the people of Zaragoza really enjoy," in the words of its director, Ana Hernández. In fact, its program includes several titles such as "The Sound of Music" and "The Book of Mormon."
