The Valdespartera venue has become a meeting place for many Zaragoza residents in recent years, and they often spend the entire year waiting for these highly anticipated dates to arrive. Getting a ticket is no easy task; in fact, many users found that the sales page had crashed, leaving them unable to purchase the coveted ticket.
WHAT IS OKTOBERFEST?
Oktoberfest is the world's largest popular and beer festival, held annually in the German city of Munich. Zaragoza has recreated the event for several years during the Fiestas del Pilar, setting up a large tent at the Valdespartera venue where live music from a band first, followed by a DJ, keeps the party going well into the night.
It usually features several varieties of beer. All of them are served in ice-cold one-liter mugs and can also be accompanied by a wide variety of dishes. German sausages, roasted pork knuckle and pretzels are the most popular choices.
It should be noted that on the remaining days outside the weekend, entry to the tent will be free and no ticket will be required. However, those wishing to enter the venue will have to queue until capacity becomes available.
