The first event will take place on Saturday, October 31, at 1 p.m., when Rumble Fish performs at the El Jardín de Jorge kiosk, located in Tío Jorge Park. The band will revisit rock and roll classics, bringing back songs and sounds associated with artists such as Carl Perkins, Dale Hawkins, Gene Vincent and Brian Setzer.
It will be an opportunity to enjoy guitars, danceable rhythms and some of the most recognizable sounds of classic rock outdoors, at a concert that will not require an admission ticket.
A JAZZ PARADE WILL TOUR SAN GREGORIO
Music will also reach the rural district of San Gregorio with Dixiewalking, a roving performance that will turn the streets into an improvised stage. The show will set off from the San Gregorio Pavilion and will feature seven professional musicians.
The ensemble will offer a musical journey combining different instruments, rhythms and melodies. Unlike a conventional concert, the parade format will allow audiences to enjoy the performance as the music moves through the neighborhood.
The event will also be free, although the information published by Zaragoza City Council does not specify the parade’s departure time.
TWO FREE CONCERTS TO ENJOY ON SATURDAY
With these two events, Jazz al Margen will bring rock and jazz to public spaces in Zaragoza, making live music accessible to residents and visitors without the need to buy a ticket.
The festival will continue during the first days of November with new performances, including one by Balkan Paradise Orchestra, one of the featured names in this year’s lineup. The program brings together artists from different backgrounds, musical styles and venues to celebrate 32 years of Jazz al Margen.
