The session "Todavía vive quien lo cuenta. Encara viu qui ho conta," by Almudena Francés and Ismael J. Sempere, initially scheduled for this Thursday, October 29, has been postponed to Thursday, December 3, at 7:30 p.m., due to the period of mourning declared following the rail accident in Urda. The program began on October 22 with Laura Jaén, from Binomio Teatro, who presented "Quizás," her first storytelling performance specifically aimed at adult audiences.
NOVEMBER EVENTS
The program will continue on November 5 with Eugenia Manzanera, a leading figure in storytelling and children's theater who is taking part in the series for the first time. In Zaragoza, she will present "Si yo te contara…," a performance combining traditional oral tales and original texts through beauty, irony and humor.
On November 19, it will be the turn of Colombian storyteller Nicolás Buenaventura with "La dicha de la palabra dicha," a stage reflection on the human need to tell stories and on the power of tales to offer shelter, open paths, illuminate or transform those who hear them.
This year's edition will finally conclude on December 3 with the postponed session by Almudena Francés and Ismael J. Sempere. It will feature "Todavía vive quien lo cuenta. Encara viu qui ho conta," a piece of documentary theater and oral storytelling built from interviews with women born in the 1930s.
