Below is everything you need to know about Valdespartera’s Oktoberfest, from the food on offer and its famous beers to the different free admission dates, as paid tickets (excluding VIP tickets) have already sold out.
DATES AND OPENING HOURS
Valdespartera’s Oktoberfest venue can be enjoyed from October 9 to 25, extending the celebration until five days after the 2026 Fiestas del Pilar come to an end.
Of the 17 days the venue will remain open, five will require advance tickets or tickets purchased at the box office. These will be October 9, 10 and 11, coinciding with the first weekend, as well as October 16 and 17. On the remaining 12 days, admission will be free until capacity is reached. These will be October 12, 13, 14 and 15, followed by October 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24 and 25.
As for opening hours, Valdespartera’s Oktoberfest will open its doors every day from 6:00 p.m., although closing times will vary depending on the day. On Friday 9, Saturday 10, Sunday 11, Friday 16 and Saturday 17, the venue will close at 4:00 a.m. On Monday 12, Tuesday 13, Wednesday 14, Thursday 15, Friday 23 and Saturday 14, it will close one hour earlier, at 3:00 a.m. On the remaining days, from October 18 to 22, closing time will be 1:00 a.m., while on October 25 it will close at midnight.
WHAT TO DRINK AND EAT AT OKTOBERFEST?
Without a doubt, the highlight of Oktoberfest is its variety of beers. Maisel’s Weisse, Aktien Landbier Dunkel and Grevensteiner are some of the most distinctive options, although there is also Ámbar beer. A one-liter stein costs 13 euros.
You can also have dinner at the venue, with plenty of options to suit every taste. Starters include French fries, priced at 6 euros, and the traditional Bretzel, priced at 3 euros.
Sausages, one of the most characteristic products of German cuisine, also take center stage. Visitors can choose between the classic Frankfurt sausage, for 6.50 euros; the Bratwurst, also for 6.50 euros; or the spicy Pikantwurst, for 6.50 euros.
For those who prefer a hamburger, there are several alternatives. The most classic is the Cheese Burger, priced at 10.50 euros, while the Depredadora burger costs 12.50 euros. The most substantial option is the Black Angus Depredadora, priced at 15 euros.
HOW TO GET THERE: TRAM, BUS AND TAXI
As for getting to the Valdespartera area, the most convenient option is probably the tram. Take Line 1 toward Mago de Oz and get off at the final stop, Mago de Oz. From there, the Valdespartera Fairgrounds are within walking distance.
By bus, the venue is served by lines V1, V4, 41, 54 and 59. There is also a taxi rank on Avenida de Casablanca. During the Fiestas del Pilar, a special V4 line is also planned, connecting Valdespartera with the city center.
