Singer-songwriter Blanca Paloma, known for representing Spain at the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest with ‘EAEA’, will perform this Friday, November 6, in Zaragoza. The artist from Elche will bring her ‘Trenza Mía’ tour to the Teatro de las Esquinas, presenting her debut album, released last June.

The concert will begin at 8:00 p.m. and will last approximately 75 minutes. On stage, Blanca Paloma will be accompanied by José Pablo Polo on keyboards, guitar and synthesizers; Naima Acuña on drums; and Dani León on bass.

The artist offers a musical journey through the lights and shadows of love, identity and memory, with a show that combines the power of traditional flamenco with alternative pop, avant-garde electronics and singer-songwriter music. It is an intimate and sensory performance in which her unmistakable voice and carefully crafted musical production take center stage.

Her debut album, ‘Trenza Mía’, brings together eleven songs rooted in Spanish folklore and the Mediterranean oral tradition. Produced alongside José Pablo Polo, the album uses the metaphor of the braid to explore personal transformation, the strength of women in tradition and the different identities that coexist across the Mediterranean. The result is a work that moves between love and detachment, the popular and the experimental, and represents the singer’s most ambitious project to date.

FROM EUROVISION TO HER DEBUT ALBUM

Born in Elche, Blanca Paloma rose to prominence with the wider public in 2023, when she won the Benidorm Fest with ‘EAEA’, a flamenco-inspired lullaby with which she later represented Spain at Eurovision, held in Liverpool.

Although her approach moved away from the contest’s more conventional formulas, her performance, marked by vocal intensity and a powerful stage aesthetic, made her one of the most recognizable artists of that edition and helped boost her international profile.

Since then, the singer has continued developing an artistic career deeply connected to roots music, while remaining open to experimentation and contemporary forms of expression. Her recent accolades include nominations for the 40th Goya Awards and the Spain Music Academy Awards for the song ‘Caminar el Tiempo’.

Tickets cost 18 euros in advance and 21 euros on the day of the performance. A special rate of 16 euros per person is also available for groups of more than fifteen attendees.
