The draw also determined which group will lead each of the five time slots. Between 6:30 and 10:00 a.m., Almochuel will lead the event, followed by Zaragoza’s Local Police, which always inaugurates the parade; from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Langa del Castillo City Council will take the lead; from 1:30 to 5:30 p.m., Club de Fútbol Rey Fernando; from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., Asociación Cultural San Miguel de Torres de las Arcas; and from 8:30 to 11:30 p.m., Working Formación Integral S.L.
Although the number of groups is lower than last year, falling from 1,158 participating groups in 2025 to 994 in 2026, Zaragoza City Council explains that the figure is similar because, in previous years, people used to register the same group more than once in order to obtain the time slot that suited them best. This year, the NIF has been requested for each registration, in the hope that this distribution will allow the Flower Offering to be completed on October 12 itself and prevent it from running into the following day again.
TWO SEPARATE ROUTES TO PLAZA DEL PILAR
The groups will once again join the Flower Offering from Paseo de la Independencia and will then split along Alfonso I and Don Jaime I streets to reach Plaza del Pilar. The organization will also allow choirs and rondallas to accompany participants as long as they do not cause interruptions or delays during the parade. In addition, 98 of the 994 registered groups have requested to perform on the stage set up in front of the Virgen del Pilar.
In the coming days, Zaragoza City Council will publish the final lists of groups on its website once the procedures following the draw have been completed, so that each participant knows their departure order.
