The meetings, held from October 19 to 22, combined in-person meetings, company visits and online connections. The initiative was supported by the Huesca Chamber of Commerce and the collaboration of the Aragonese Cluster of Agricultural and Livestock Production Equipment (CAMPAG).
FROM CONTACTS TO SALES
After the negotiations, the time comes to turn conversations into purchases and orders. Buyers are considering which products they can add to their catalogs, while the Chamber remains in contact with both parties to facilitate negotiations. Loreto Morlans, head of Internationalization at the Huesca Chamber of Commerce, explained that the organization will support the negotiation process between buyers and sellers.
“The support provided after the meetings is essential to moving toward the completion of transactions. In the coming months, the Chamber will help companies identify potential sources of financing and access tools and resources that can help overcome difficulties that may arise during negotiations and the formalization of sales,” Morlans said.
A FAIR FOR OPENING UP MARKETS
Silvia Ramírez, councillor for Development and Trade Fairs, emphasizes that FERMA’s success should be measured by the business opportunities it generates. The 50 meetings open up new commercial avenues, although their outcome will depend on the agreements reached.
The fair also addressed relevant issues, such as the future of young people in rural areas, the pig farming sector, taxation and irrigation. The event’s program included innovative projects and a university award focused on sustainability in the primary sector and agri-food industries.
