The opening is part of the agreement announced by both companies in May 2025 to expand the network of secure truck parking facilities in Spain. With this new site, the network now has 428 spaces across seven locations. The aim is to improve protection for vehicles and cargo while making it easier for truck drivers to rest at sites with high levels of logistics activity.
SECURITY AND SERVICES FOR DRIVERS
All seven parking facilities have access controls, video surveillance cameras, fenced premises, enhanced lighting and active 24-hour security. "The lack of secure parking facilities equipped with suitable services remains one of the major challenges facing road transport in Spain and Europe," says Luis Manuel Calvo, general manager of mowiz TRUCK, who highlights cooperation between companies to expand this infrastructure.
The network also offers services to facilitate stops during journeys, including areas for refrigerated vehicles with electrical connections and, depending on the location, food services and accommodation. "At Repsol, we believe drivers should have access to safe, comfortable rest areas with high-quality services," says Carlos Suárez, Repsol’s Mobility Director in Spain.
SEVEN LOCATIONS AND ONLINE BOOKINGS
In addition to Zaragoza, the network operates in Albatera (Alicante), Guarromán (Jaén), Mirabueno (Guadalajara), Valdecarpinteros (Salamanca), Fontioso (Burgos) and Caudete de las Fuentes (Valencia). Drivers and companies can book a space in advance through the mowiz TRUCK digital platform, consolidate billing and use Solred as a payment method, making it easier to organize routes and manage fleets.
