INAEM Managing Director Agustín García Inda explained that the aim is to provide training that is "up to date and connected to companies' needs". The funds will be distributed between 2026 and 2027, while the final number of courses and places will depend on the projects selected.
The courses will be held in person in Aragon, although they may use the virtual classroom as support when the subject allows it. This training will be included in the catalogue of the Spanish State Public Employment Service (SEPE) and will not provide access to a professional certificate, but those who complete it will receive the accreditation corresponding to their field of study.
PRIORITY FOR THOSE FACING THE GREATEST DIFFICULTIES
Unemployed people must account for at least 70% of the students starting each course and be registered as jobseekers. Employed workers may also participate within the established limits. Priority will be given, among other groups, to the long-term unemployed, people with low qualifications or disabilities, and those facing or at risk of social exclusion.
The programme will also give priority to women who have been outside the labour market for more than five years or who live in municipalities with fewer than 30,000 inhabitants. To extend opportunities across the region, the budget will be divided among nine areas according to their unemployed population. "This call for applications aims to bring training closer to all of Aragon," García Inda said.
WHEN REGISTRATION WILL OPEN
Registration for students is not yet open. The call is initially addressed to training providers, which have five working days from the day after its publication in the Official Gazette of Aragon to apply for the funding. The locations where the courses will be held will be announced once the programme has been approved.
Interested people do not need to take any action for now. The courses will be published progressively in the training search engine on the INAEM website, where users will be able to check the content, schedules, dates, locations and requirements. Pre-registration will mainly take place through that channel and will generally be available from two months before each course begins.
