Zaragoza will be represented by Raúl González Casado, who will travel to the Gipuzkoa town of Zarautz to showcase his experience and mastery of the grill against some of the country's top specialists.
The event will take place on October 20 and will feature 50 participants, one representing each Spanish province. González Casado will therefore attend the competition as Zaragoza's representative, with the aim of taking the name of Mesón Los Cántaros and the province's hospitality industry to the top.
FIFTH EDITION
The contest reaches its fifth edition this year and is organized by Okelan, a Basque meat company specializing in the selection and marketing of meat. Its goals include promoting the recovery of native cattle breeds, as well as spreading the culture of quality meat and grilling.
Mesón Los Cántaros' participation is an opportunity for Zaragoza's grilling tradition to compete against establishments and professionals from every corner of the country.
