The special service will allow passengers to use the tram both to travel to the festival area and, especially, to get home once the concerts have ended. Clara Campoamor stop is one option for those arriving from Avenida de la Academia General Militar, while Pablo Neruda is the most suitable from Mago de Oz. From both stops, passengers will need to complete the journey on foot, which takes around 10 or 12 minutes.
The tram will therefore be one of the public transport options available during a weekend when Zaragoza is expected to welcome thousands of Vive Latino attendees. This continuous service will also be complemented by a special bus operation, including a dedicated line connecting the city center with the area around the venue and additional services on several regular routes.
EXTRA SERVICE ALSO PROVIDED FOR THE REAL ZARAGOZA MATCH
Specifically, the special ES7 bus route will start operating at 8:30 p.m. to connect Paseo María Agustín with Pasarela del Voluntariado. Between 11:30 p.m. and 5:41 a.m., coinciding with the end of the concerts, its frequency will increase to approximately one bus every four or five minutes. There will also be additional services on routes 23, 34, Ci1 and Ci2.
The transport operation will also take into account another major event on Saturday. Real Zaragoza will face Antequera at 9:00 p.m. at Ibercaja Estadio, so special additional tram services have been scheduled after the match. Specifically, two double trams and two single trams will be added to the regular service to handle the increase in passengers.
