Delicias remains, for another year, the most populated district in the entire city, with 104,494 inhabitants, well ahead of the rest. It is followed by El Rabal, which is approaching 80,000 residents (79,901), and San José, which has more than 67,000 residents (67,158). These three districts alone are home to more than 250,000 people, roughly one-third of Zaragoza's total population.
OTHER DISTRICTS
Completing the ranking of the largest districts are Actur-Rey Fernando, with 55,151 inhabitants, and Centro, with 52,698. The two areas combine a large number of residents with very different demographic profiles. Just behind them are Universidad, with 50,121 residents, and Casco Histórico, which, despite its small size, has 47,976 inhabitants.
The middle of the table includes Torrero-La Paz (45,579), Distrito Sur (43,705), one of the districts that has grown the most due to the expansion of Arcosur and Valdespartera, and Las Fuentes (43,229). These three districts have very similar populations, each with around 43,000 to 45,000 residents. Further down are Oliver-Valdefierro, with 34,870 inhabitants, and La Almozara, with 30,535.
At the other end of the table are the city's smallest districts: Miralbueno, with 14,683 inhabitants, and Casablanca, which comes last with just 10,161 residents—one-tenth of the population concentrated in Delicias.
