The entry fee is 60 euros per pair, a donation that will go entirely to Aspanoa to fund its psychological and social support program for children with cancer and their families. Pairs will be able to compete in the women’s, men’s and mixed categories and will play a minimum of three 25-minute matches. In addition, all participants will receive a commemorative T-shirt, sweatshirt and towel, and will be able to take part in a major prize draw featuring gifts donated by collaborating companies. Registration will remain open until October 18 through Aspanoa’s website.
VISIT FROM THE STAR WARS 501ST LEGION
The tournament will once again combine sport and charitable activities, including an introductory padel workshop for Aspanoa children and a visit from the Star Wars 501st Legion. Special Olympics Aragón will also organize a parallel tournament for athletes with disabilities throughout the weekend. The major new feature will be adapted padel, with a demonstration and a clinic open to people with and without disabilities on Friday, featuring, among others, Aragón wheelchair tennis champion Víctor Marcén. On Saturday, members of the Spanish Adapted Padel Team will take part, with the aim of promoting the creation of a school for this discipline in Aragón.
The 2026 edition also builds on last year’s record, when the tournament raised 20,250 euros. On this occasion, the funds will help strengthen the psychological and social support Aspanoa provides during the different stages of the illness, from diagnosis and treatment through the return to normal life or bereavement. Last year, the program supported 337 people through psychological assistance and 282 through its social workers. The initiative’s main supporter is Caja Rural de Aragón, with the collaboration of dozens of companies and organizations.
