From established events such as the San Bruno Antique Market and the Mercado de los Porches to new editions and returning events with fresh additions, these are some of the dates worth marking on your calendar to enjoy Zaragoza's flea markets during September.
THE NAUTICO FLEA MARKET
The city's most famous flea market returns for another season as summer draws to a close and people return to their usual routines. The terraces at the Nautico will once again fill with stalls next Sunday, September 6.
This time, the event is placing more emphasis than ever on local and independent brands. In total, it will feature up to 19 vendors and a wide variety of products, including clothing, accessories, home decor and cosmetics.
DJ Benez will also provide the soundtrack for the day with music and vermouth. And there's more: the venue is pet-friendly and admission is free. The flea market will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at 82 Paseo de Echegaray y Caballero.
FLOWER AND PET MARKET
A flea market where flowers and dogs come together to create the perfect combination. The event will be held on the first Sunday of every month from September, in the heart of El Gancho. The next dates are September 6, October 4 and November 1.
Flowers and pet accessories will be the main attractions at this market, which will be set up in Plaza José María Forqué. The initiative will also bring together several animal shelters from Zaragoza and feature a DJ, food trucks, workshops and activities for all ages.
LA TRÁPALA
The third edition of La Trápala returns on September 19, this time at the Viva la Vida bar in Zaragoza. "A new style and more hours," the organizers promise on their social media.
Applications for stalls are already open, seeking unique brands or projects related to vintage items, fashion, art, illustration, jewelry, crafts or design, as well as "handmade little things" or "any proposal with the Trápala spirit," as they themselves describe it.
Although many more details have yet to be revealed, one date can already be marked on the calendar: September 19, at 7 Plaza de Santa Cruz, in the heart of Zaragoza's Old Town.
RETRO VINTAGE FLEA MARKET AND MERCADO DE LOS PORCHES
Two events for flea market lovers will coincide on September 20. On the one hand, Plaza de las Armas will host the Retro Vintage Flea Market, organized by Bloggers Zgz and focused on second-hand items, restored goods and unique vintage pieces.
It will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and admission will be free, making it the perfect plan for a Sunday morning.
The Mercado de los Porches will also take place that day at the Porches del Audiorama. It has become a classic in its own right, as one of Zaragoza's longest-running flea markets.
SAN BRUNO ANTIQUE MARKET
Until October, visitors can continue to enjoy the San Bruno Antique Market in Plaza de San Bruno, next to La Seo. It is held every Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with September dates falling on the 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th.
Its stalls offer all kinds of antiques and curious objects: paintings, ornaments, lamps, old magazines, toys and many other pieces with a story to tell.
