The ban on using certain public spaces for sleeping is therefore maintained, but the conduct is no longer considered a serious offense.
THE FINE WILL BE UP TO 750 EUROS
The distinction affects the fine that may be imposed. Since it is classified as a minor offense, the conduct falls within a category carrying a penalty of up to 750 euros, compared with the amounts предусмотр for serious offenses.
Overnight stays are thus included in the same section regulating other behaviors related to the use of public space, although they are very different in nature, such as throwing away rubbish or cigarette butts, failing to clean up pets’ excrement, or abandoning bicycles and scooters.
