Specifically, the establishment allegedly exceeded the permitted hours on four occasions, by 4 hours, 6 hours, 1 hour and 30 minutes, and 2 hours and 20 minutes, according to the case files compiled by the City Council. The fine is therefore among the highest in the list of infractions that the Urban Planning Department will resolve this Thursday.
It will not be the only venue fined for closing later than permitted. The Urban Planning Department will impose a €1,500 fine on El Tocadiscos pub, on Calle Antonio Agustín, for exceeding closing hours by two and a half hours; €900 on Leones 2 bar for doing so by three hours; and another €900 on Encuentro Latino pub, on Calle Lozano Monzón, for exceeding the established limit by one hour. Fines of €601 are also planned for Iberia bar-café and La Mamba Negra, for exceeding the limit by one hour and 30 minutes and one hour and 45 minutes, respectively.
The package also includes fines for noise levels above those permitted: €3,500 for El Patrón pub, €2,000 for Triana bar and €1,500 for Peña Vaquillera. The Urban Planning Department will also reject an appeal filed by another King Doner Kebab, on Calle Francisco de Vitoria, against the order to close and shut down the business for operating without a license.
