The project also includes the installation of a wall with metal fencing to enclose the new courts, as well as the placement of a drinking fountain and seven benches made from recycled plastic. The project aims to complete the space with various features for the use and enjoyment of local residents.
The contract has a budget of 35,226.95 euros and sets an execution period of two months from the start of the work. The project area is located on Camino de Juslibol, on a plot bordering a pedestrian path and a building intended for social and healthcare facilities along its southern edge.
SEVEN TREES AND DRIP IRRIGATION
The project will not be limited to the sports courts. It also includes the supply and planting of seven trees, with a drip irrigation system to be installed to facilitate their maintenance.
The project aims to improve this area of Picarral by combining a sports zone, street furniture and greenery. The three courts will provide a new meeting point for pétanque enthusiasts in the neighborhood.
